BIOGRAPHY

Paul Baker is a jazz bassist in the Central Ohio area. He graduated from Otterbein University in Spring 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music – Jazz Studies Concentration. He has performed with numerous local musicians and has recorded two albums comprised entirely of original material.

  • Bassists - Paul Chambers, Oscar Pettiford, Ray Brown, John Clayton, Sam Jones, Percy Heath, Christian McBride, Jimmy Blanton, Ron Carter, Charles Mingus, Buster Williams, Scott LaFaro, Niels-­Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Jaco Pastorious, Robert Hurst and Milt Hinton just to name a few.
